The GMP Group was employed by the client to manage the decontamination and specialist demolition of 2000 m2 of R&D Laboratories
This was a particularly sensitive Project because the Laboratories and plant rooms where surrounded by Labs and Offices that needed to remain in use with functioning HVAC and Utilities passing through the Demolition site.
Using the Latest methods of Selective demolition The GMP Group were able to ensure the project was completed 4 weeks ahead of schedule and below the clients budget.
The Process of Decontamination & Demolition included:
- Site Investigation
- Develop Specification For Decontamination
- Develop Method Statements for Selective Demolition
- CDM Co-ordination & Planning
- Develop Cleaning & Removal Schedules
- Full Supervision of On-Site Contractors
- Inspection & Sign off of all Outgoing Demolition waste
- Full Handover Documentation
